Extremely rare table lamp generally attributed to a. Pöll in the late 1940s for kalmar werkstatten but we've also seen a couple attributed to jt kalmar as the designer, vienna. Hardwood base and rod, mahogany stained, brass fittings. Fabric shade. this is the rarer version as "most" other models are in teak and in teak color. The inner shade has some very light imperfections but not noticeable from the outside. The brass is in a lovely light vintage patinated condition and the lamp is in great working order. People tend to date these from the late 40s to the 60s.the shade's height can be changed using the brass hooks at the back of the arm. The lamp is fitted for a general e27 lightbulb. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, european plug (up to 250v).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
