Palpebra is a playful furniture complement that expresses the creative genius of Maestro Ico Parisi.‎ Thanks to painstaking historically accurate research and development conducted in collaboration with the Ico Parisi Design Archives, Palpebra was engineered to mimic the movement of the human eye.‎ The upper cover of the lamp opens and closes by means of a sophisticated miniaturized system of rotation that also allows the angle of light emission to be adjusted.‎ Cassina employed a capacitive sensor capable of adjusting light intensity in two ways: by pressing a finger down for gradual results, or tapping it to cycle through brightness levels from 0 - 100 - 50 - 0.‎ A dramatic object, with a bold personality, Palpebra is available in various finishes.‎
