Palpebra is a playful furniture complement that expresses the creative genius of Maestro Ico Parisi. Thanks to painstaking historically accurate research and development conducted in collaboration with the Ico Parisi Design Archives, Palpebra was engineered to mimic the movement of the human eye. The upper cover of the lamp opens and closes by means of a sophisticated miniaturized system of rotation that also allows the angle of light emission to be adjusted. Cassina employed a capacitive sensor capable of adjusting light intensity in two ways: by pressing a finger down for gradual results, or tapping it to cycle through brightness levels from 0 - 100 - 50 - 0. A dramatic object, with a bold personality, Palpebra is available in various finishes.
