Poul Henningsen spent his career solving the same problem: how to make light livable. His multi-shade system – engineered to eliminate glare and diffuse warmth evenly – was a functional breakthrough that quietly became a global design philosophy. In tribute, Louis Poulsen created the PH 80 Table Lamp in 1974, on what would have been his 80th birthday.
