The lamp's body is a true piece of domestic sculpture: a cluster of cylindrical columns in solid, transparent Perspex, cut obliquely at the top to create prisms that break up the light. The acrylic columns are inserted into elegant brass cylinders, which in turn rest on a geometric base layered in black and transparent Perspex. This contrast between the lightness of the Plexiglas, the dark solidity of the base, and the metallic warmth of the brass gives the lamp a magnetic presence.
