"Simris" table lamp with chromed metal frame, leather-covered base, sliding trolley with adjustment knob, designed in 1964. An icon of Scandinavian lighting from the 1960s and 1970s, the "Simris" by Anders Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan combines technical precision and visual lightness. The low leather-covered base (cognac-toned with stitching), the double chromed metal upright, and the sliding arm with an ivory-colored circular knob define a fluid and clean ergonomic design. The lacquered cylindrical head rotates and tilts; the louvre diffuser softens the beam while reducing glare, a hallmark of Pehrson lamps. Normal signs of aging; light abrasions and small traces of use on the lacquered head, small stains on the leather base; electrical system working. Good condition. May show signs of aging.
