A Telegono table lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in 1969. The combination of the semi-spherical diffuser and the rounded frame make for a playful design. The diffuser can be rotated, which creates different geometric relations. There are two versions of this lamp. This is the version with the incorporated pencil box. The lamp is manufactured in ABS plastic. It remains in good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
