Vintage Chinese Cloisonné Vase Table Lamp With Floral Motif On Wood Base, 1930s–1950s

Chairish

$519

Description: A striking example of early to mid-20th-century craftsmanship, this vintage Chinese cloisonné table lamp features a deep cobalt blue ground with vibrant polychrome floral designs. The fine cloisonné enamel work is complemented by a traditional meander (key-fret) background and colorful lotus and peony blossoms. Set on a carved wood base with pierced detail and elevated on a bronze-tone platform, the lamp has been carefully converted from a cloisonné vase. The brass double-socket fixture is marked Bryant, a well-known American maker of electrical components, suggesting the conversion occurred sometime between the 1930s–1950s. Measurements: Height (with finial): 31 inches Width (widest point of the vase): 7.5 inches Optional Shade (if included): no additional cost Shipping Dimensions (approximate if including shade): ~20” × 20” × 35” (you may adjust after packing) Condition: Very good vintage condition overall One small dent with minor chipping visible near the body (see photos) Patina and signs of age on the brass elements consistent with use Tested and fully functional with updated wiring The lamp is topped with a solid brass cap and a classic double pull-chain socket, evoking Art Deco elegance. The shade is offered free and optional upon request, allowing you to style it your way or maintain its sculptural silhouette. This is a decorator-quality piece ideal for entryways, living rooms, or curated vintage interiors.
