Handcrafted by Amitābha Studio from a mid-20th-century Altena & Krooyenga Makkum earthenware vase, this table lamp showcases classic Dutch polychrome Delftware painting. Iron-red cartouches frame hand-painted floral sprays in ochre, cobalt, and sage on a white tin-glazed ground. The vase bears the A&K Makkum shield mark with model no. 306 and painter’s initial “S,” confirming attribution. Finished with a new pleated silk shade in light sage green, the piece balances vivid decoration with a soft, tailored silhouette. Condition is excellent, with brilliant glaze and crisp detailing; no visible chips or craquelure.
