A very nice Victorian Walnut sewing stand and work table. This unique piece has a fold out writing or work surface under the top lid as seen often in writing slopes or lap desks. There is a large pierced carved pull out holding drawer under the work surface. The inside is decorated in Birdseye Maple wood. Condition: Very good old original surface with a nice color and patina. Age cracks to the veneer and wood on the top. Replaced velvet fabric on the underside of the top lid.
