This antique footed serving dish was made in England circa 1840. It is of two-handed shaped oval form on a conforming shaped foot. The center is hand-painted with a vary-color butterfly, a Chinese blue vase with pink peonies and a dish filled with vegetables. The border with blue underglaze and painted with floral sprays highlighted in gold. The foot and underside of dish similarly painted. Underside with impressed mark.
