Le Pavoncelle Plate #6

This stunning plate is entirely handmade and adorned by hand with a modern interpretation of the Sardinian "pavoncella" (peacock), traditionally decorating Sardinian chests. The stylized animal is depicted using the graffito technique, whereby Cerasarda's craftsmen scratch the terracotta to incorporate vibrant enamels for a collection piece of strong appeal.
