A copper metal insert resembling the beak of a bird was heated, hammered, and imbedded into the body of this exquisitely crafted vase. A unique technique is used in the creation of this piece where sheets of brass oxidized by hand are formed using a CNC cutting machine. Sharp edges and precise geometrical shapes are created and, in combination with the tall elegant shape of this piece, accented by the copper insert, the vase is an exquisite sight to behold.
