High Cut Vase

This elegant tall vase has a slender shape, tapering at the top, where another brass component with a circular shape sits. The brass plates used in the making of this piece have been oxidized by hand and shaped using a special technique involving a CNC cutting machine. The vase is formed to exact geometrical proportions, interrupted only by a long irregularly shaped copper insert that has been heated and then hammered by hand. The two contrasting metal tones make this a striking piece.
