This vase designed by Ettore Sottsass is crafted of mouth-blown glass and merges the traditional opaline technique with a modern aesthetic. The ice-blue, cone-shaped mouth and neck sharply transition into a red, oval-shaped body. The opaline technique, which involved layering opaque glass with clear sheets of glass, results in vibrantly colored glass. This vase is part of a numbered collection from 2003.
