Dutch old master painting, previously attributed to Phillips Wouwerman, 1619 to 1668. Oil on tin panel inscribed in later pencil and chalk on the reverse. Philips Wouwerman was a Dutch painter of hunting, landscape and battle scenes. He became prolific during the Dutch Golden Age and joined the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke. - Wikipedia His work often centers on well articulated white horses.
