Quinquina Bonnet is a French wine-based aperitif advertisement from circa 1925. The original lithograph poster features a man dressed in a turn of the century tuxedo. He sports elaborate sideburns, known as "side whiskers", which were out of fashion by the time of this advertisement. The style of the illustration refers back to the earlier poster designs of the turn of the century, making the design choice suited as a "retro" piece. The bold red background and singular figure help to relay a more contemporary handling of the retro piece. Signed by Artist PB, artist unknown size 45"x78"x1.5". Framed. Original lithograph print affixed to archival linen.
