The pair of authentic Persian vintage miniatures are a rare find. They feature rich mineral based colors on old hand made paper and are presented in their original (1940’s)mat and gold wood frames. The traditional hunting scenes are intricately detailed and are illuminated by a metallic gold wash. This pair of Persian miniatures were included in a display of Persian artwork in the home of a member of the US Diplomatic Staff in Tehran (1950’s) and Washington DC (1970-1998).
