The Hunt, by Virizi, an Iranian Persian miniature artist, and painter in the traditional Isfahan School manner. The hunt is classic Persian imagery of the hunters pursuing gazelle across the rolling hills a selection of hunting dogs and gazelles. The whole is in an Isfahan revival style. The panel is painted in a smooth gauche on a panel and glazed in a form highly like to Ivory panels or porcelain painting. Beautiful color tones and framed in a velvet matt and silver leaf frame. The size is 11.5" by 8.5" framed and the image is 4.75" by 7.25" tall. Very good condition.
