The lipstick was groundbreaking at the time as it was the first long lasting lipstick. AND...it became highly coveted as it was the lipstick preferred by Audrey Hepburn! It was rumored to cross the Atlantic to highlight the lips of Miss Hepburn herself! The advertisement was illustrated by the famed graphic artist Rene Gruau.
