We purchased it in Paris from a vendor who specializes in original fashion drawings. This was a lucky find for us as it is a rarity! It is a gouache and ink drawing done on thick paper stock. Note the artistic styling of the 2 piece ensemble with its deep off center button detailing and its box shaped neckline. The shoulder sash gives the look its panache. The design is sleek and chic, with wonderful gesturing and posture. This drawing is one of several in our shop by this designer. Signed by the fashion designer, Jean Pierre Fleurimon, who today is best known for his makeup and beauty cosmetics salon in Paris but whose early career was fashion design.
