Simon Avissar (born c. 1938–1948) is a Moroccan-born Israeli-American painter known for his vibrant, expressive work combining Surrealism, abstraction, and figurative elements. A graduate of the Bezalel School in Jerusalem, he worked extensively in Paris, creating paintings, mixed media, and illustrations often featuring mythological or dreamlike themes.
