Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a beautiful piece featuring Keil’s iconic sailboats. It is signed and dated “P. Keil ‘84” in the lower right corner and executed on board. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art has wear that is typical with age and minor imperfections.
