Peter Keil is a German artist that primarily focuses on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a beautiful piece executed on canvas featuring Keil’s iconic sailboats. This particular piece is from his “Junge Wilde” collection he created in Berlin in the late 80’s through the 90’s. This piece is signed “P. Keil” in the lower right corner. It was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art is in great condition with typical signs of age and wear.
