19th-Century Hand Colored French Engraving of a Beagle for "La Chasse Illustree" by Firmin Didot in 1867-1868. The engraving depicts a beagle standing over a dead rabbit in a rural landscape. Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections including some foxing around the edges of the engraving. Also, the printed text on the backside of the paper is slightly visible at the bottom- attesting to the fact that it’s an original.
