Fine antique oil painting of a young boy from the early nineteenth century attributed to the American school. Mounted in a classic oval wood insert in a rectangular frame measuring 27 1/2 × 23 1/2 inches. Fine condition. The painting had been laid on a board for preservation. The boy is holding a riding crop stick and has a toy rocking horse in the foreground. Probably from an aristocratic family.
