Rare Victorian chromolithograph depicting an elaborate music chair by A. Joubert of London and an ebonized cabinet by A. Sedley of London. Published in England by the celebrated firm Day & Son, Lithographers to the Queen, under the direction of J. B. Waring. The composition showcases richly ornamented nineteenth-century furniture inspired by French royal decorative arts, featuring gilt embellishments, painted porcelain panels, Sevres-style urns, and a dramatic black-and-gold cabinet crowned by an ornamental clock. Originally issued as a design reference plate for architects, cabinetmakers, decorators, and collectors during the height of the Victorian decorative arts movement. A striking and highly decorative example of nineteenth-century chromolithography.
