Antoinette Haudebourt-Lescot (14 December 1784 - 2 January 1845) was a French painter. She was a portrait painter, but also painted delicate genre scenes. She exhibited regularly at the Paris Salon, between 1811 and 1840. In 1820 she married the architect Louis-Pierre Haudebourt . Some of his works can be found at the Louvre and Toulouse, at the Musée des Augustins, and at Château-Thierry in the Jean de La Fontaine Museum. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
