Peter Keil is a German artist that focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol, to name a few. This is a fabulous piece from Keil’s “Junge Wilde” collection. It is signed and dated “P. Keil ‘64” in the lower left corner and executed on board. It is titled with the location “Art, Berlin” on the verso. This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter. The art has wear that is consistent with age and minor imperfections.
