Depicts a tree-lined park in autumn, a roadway in the foreground featuring automobiles and pedestrians, painted in loose Impressionist brushwork. Signed lower right "A. C. Goodwin". Measures 13" x 12"; 17" x 16 1/4" framed. Goodwin was a self-taught American Impressionist celebrated for his depictions of Boston and New York City at the turn of the 20th century. His work is found in many museum and institutional collections including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.
