He is credited for his artistic vision and his ability to create an advertising message to a memorable image with simple, elegant lines and bold colors. During the 1940's - 1960's his works were exhibited in Paris at The Gallery of Beaux Arts and The Museum of Decorative Arts. Villemot is one of the last great poster artists, and considered by many to be the " Painter-Laureate of Modern Commercial Art ". The rare out of print French Pop Art poster measures 18" W X 23 5/8" H. It is printed on high quality smooth finish paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a satin finish.
