Anatole Krasnyansky was born in Kyiv in 1930. After completing his studies in Leningrad (now St Petersburg) he embarked on a career in architectural restoration—a skill much needed in post war Petersburg—and architectural design. He emigrated to the United states in 1975 to find the freedom his artistic expression demanded. He worked as a set designer for ABC, CBS and Universal Studios. Krasyansky developed his surreal style utilizing masked figures in space after working with the band Kiss. This innovative artist passed in 2023. Very good pre-owned condition.
