British painter William Edward Powell (1878/85-1955) was a self taught artist. Powell lost both of his legs in combat during WW1, and continued painting from a bed for the rest of his career. This watercolor is framed and signed middle right. This watercolor is in very good original condition with wear consistent with age and use.
