Chefoo Trade Harbour is an albumen print made by an unidentified photographic studio. Print in excellent condition, applied to cardboard. Caption in Italian ink hand-written on hardcover. Print 22 x 27.5 cm, cardboard 26 x 33.5 cm In the photograph a view of the commercial harbour of Chefoo, were are depicted the activities of fishermen and traders who handle goods from boats dock on the shore. Besides the beach, the city and the mountains are clearly visible. This photograph features a very nice albumin greyscale and shine. This print was originally purchased by an Italian soldier who participated in the closing stages of the Boxer Revolt (1899 - 1901) as a foreign contingent (Regia Marina).
