A beautiful still life oil painting by listed UK artist Douglas Stannus Gray (1890-1959). It features roses in a silver bowl in front of drapes. Gray was influenced by John Singer Sargent and has works in the Tate Gallery. The canvas measures 10” x 14”. With the frame the dimensions are 16” x 21”. The frame has losses. It appears to be newer so you may want to replace it. Overall just a lovely painting.
