A New England native, Florence Robinson (1874-1937) studied in Paris with Henri-Joseph Harpignies (1819-1916), James Abbott McNeil Whistler (1834-1903) and watercolorist Pierre Vignal (1855-1925). She specialized in watercolors, painting scenes from her travels throughout Europe and North Africa. "Garden with Fountain" is a beautiful example of Robinson's work, featuring a formal garden with a fountain at the center. The work on paper is 10 x 17 inches and comes from the Estate of the artist. It is beautifully framed and ready to hang.
