Lund studied with noted masters in Oslo and Germany before opening a studio in Los Angeles in 1919. His work includes landscapes, seascapes, portraits, murals, scenes of Norway and California. He was an honorary member of the Scandinavian American Art Association and exhibited at Stendahi Gallery (LA). He died May 29, 1959
