This Fiorucci rare original vintage 1978 New Wave Italian fashion lithograph print Pop Art poster " Fioruccino " is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection. The world famous Italian fashion bran was founded in 1967 by Elio Fiorucci. The first shop exposed Milan to the styles of swinging London and American classics such as the t-shirt and jeans. By the late 1970's and early 1980's this would be reversed, and the New York City store would become famous for the fashions it introduced in The United States. In the early 1980's the Fiorucci boutique in New York City was the epicenter of The New Wave Post Modern fashion scene. It was the place to be, and referred to as " The Daytime Studio 54 ". It attracted trendsetters including Andy Warhol, Jackie O., Debbie Harry, and a young Madonna, among many other creative and well known people. Fiorucci made better posters than any fashion brand ever did. The posters sold the clothing for sure, but the posters were the product, also. They were hugely desirable. Clothing inside the closet / posters hung on the closet door. Fiorucci posters were a collectible Pop culture phenomenon. The rare out of print original vintage Fiorucci New Wave fashion poster is printed in Italy. It measures 19 5/8" W X 27 1/2" H. It is in good vintage condition consistent with age, use, and signs of handling. It has never been framed. There is some visible surface an edge wear. Please see photos for condition reference. It will frame very well. It is now being offered here for an excellent price.
