Oil on canvas. Signed lower left. The Veronese painter Ise Lebrecht devoted himself primarily to landscapes, and in particular painted many views of his city, Verona, inspired by Southern realism, especially that of Antonio Mancini. Presented here is a glimpse of a forest on the slopes of a mountain, with a bridge crossing the stream. The work is presented in a contemporary frame. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
