This elegant photo portrait portrays an elegant woman from the late 19th century with the classic black and white ink retouching technique. The fine oval frame in gilded wood features two geometric carved orders and the external band with floral motif decorations. On the back, the original thin nail fixing still features the newspaper clippings used to seal the artefact. The original cord for hanging is present. The vintage condition is very good.
