His art career started in Hollywood High School, drawing cartoons for the school paper. Hi studies line drawing under John Miles then furthered his study in fine arts under Christian Von Schneidau, Theodore Lukits, A.S. Keszthlyi, George Olson and Donna Schuster, Ralph Holmes, John Hubbard Rich. He attended Otis Art Institute and Art Center. In addition to painting, he was also an art conservator. His paintings won awards and exhibited frequently in Southern California.
