Mexican artist Humberto Sosa pays tribute to the great monuments of the world in this original series. Working in acrylic paints and pencil on wood board, the artist renders a sketch of the pyramids in Giza, Egypt. Most of the pyramids were built as tombs for the pharaohs of the Old and Middle Kingdoms. The pyramid of Khufu is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still in existence.
