Up for sale is an original antique John Gilbert engraving titled "Miss Flite Introduces the wards in Jarndyce to the "Lord Chancellor" done in 1860. It's a lovely copper plate engraving printed on a pair surface bearing the original plate mark border. The piece is also signed in the plate and titled on the bottom edge. It is set in a faux marcasite stone/gold gilded wooden frame, matted, and under glass. In great condition and measures 21 1/2 inches by 17 1/2 inches framed. The image alone measures 13 1/4 inches by 9 3/8 inches.
