This spectacular vintage set consists of two large Chinese Imperial Ancestor Portraits on Silk, beautifully framed and displayed as a ceremonial pair from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The first portrait depicts an Emperor seated on a dragon throne, wearing the distinctive Imperial Yellow Dragon Robe and a red official hat, symbolizing ultimate authority. His companion portrait features an Empress in a detailed blue ceremonial court robe and an elaborate Phoenix Crown.
