His painting technique was influenced by the Labronica School, a team of artist coming from Livorno, Tuscany, Italy. They founded the School in 1920. Their style is strongly Post-Impressionist, dense, and rich in texture; we can consider Danilo Barghigiani a member of the Tuscany Shool, Post- Macchiaioli painters influenced by the works of the master like Giovanni Fattori. The painting is signed by the artist in front and on the back.
