Robert Louis Morin The Quays of Notre-Dame de Paris. Oil on canvas. Signed and dated 1966 in red in the lower right corner. In excellent condition for its age, with an exceptional vintage patina. Painting exhibited at the 26th Bois-Colombes Art Exhibition in 1967. Exhibition label on the back indicating Mr. Robert Louis Morin as exhibitor, with the title of the work: Banks of the Seine in Paris. A superb view of the Seine in Paris with a barge on one side and the cathedral on the other, Parisian shops on the right, and a striking presence in the center with the trees, which seem to be the main subject of this work, which could be described as a portrait of trees. Personification or homage to these beautiful Parisian trees so often overlooked—you decide. Dimensions: 59 x 49 x 2 cm.
