Original acrylic on wood panel by the Spanish artist Rubén Sánchez (Zoonchez), from his Equilibrios Cotidianos ("Everyday Balances") series. This is a kitchen still life reduced to geometric shorthand — vessels, fruit and a hanging lamp — arranged so the composition stays poised precisely because it refuses symmetry. The picture is built in the negative: black is laid around the objects so they emerge as pale, grain-visible passages of the bare wood itself, with select elements picked out in warm orange. The panel's own grain reads straight through the lighter shapes, making the wood surface part of the image rather than a support behind it. Sánchez is self-taught, shaped by graffiti and skate culture and by his study of Juan Gris, Léger and Purism. Signed on the reverse; ready to hang.
