Original acrylic on wood panel by the Spanish artist Rubén Sánchez (Zoonchez), from his Equilibrios Cotidianos ("Everyday Balances") series. A stylized woman's face surfaces at the lower left — a curl of hair, an eye, full lips resolved out of the surrounding shapes — set among vases, hanging fruit and flowering forms, a way of assembling a figure from arrangement rather than outline that nods to Miró and Picasso. Like its companion, the panel is worked in the negative: black paint is laid around the forms so the objects read as pale, grain-visible wood, with accents in warm orange. Sánchez's own eight-point star is worked into the composition as a signature mark. Self-taught and rooted in graffiti and skate culture, he draws on Juan Gris, Léger and Purism. Signed on the reverse; ready to hang. Offered on its own or paired with "Sunny Morning II," with which it shares palette, wood ground and that recurring star.
