A 1980s acrylic on paper painting by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). This diptych's two parts each feature an abstracted landscape desert scene, with blue skies, yellow fields, and mountains along the horizon. Unframed, each painting is signed to the lower right. Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
