The elephant-headed Ganesha stands majestically on a lotus flower at the center of this suar wood relief panel, hand-carved by Indonesian artisan Made Mulyani. Surrounded by lotus leaves, the beloved Hindu deity holds sacred weapons in three of his hands and lifts his fourth hand in the abhayamudra pose, a gesture of reassurance and safety.
