"Team Effort" This painting features a local Halflinger horse team that I had painted sketches of from life and added a more interesting background, it's always fun to see the playful interactions of the team at rest, but when asked to move out they function as well oiled machine and pull together in harmony. Being able to frame Lorie's artwork and add my own creative touch has been such an amazing experience. Together, we’re not just creating beautiful pieces—we’re blending our styles and the spirit of our Westcliffe community. This custom frame is handcrafted from vintage, repurposed reclaimed wood flooring. The rich, natural tones and aged patina beautifully complement the painting, enhancing the warmth of the horses’ coats and bringing depth and rustic character to the artwork.
